Here, at Monetha, we believe that a great team is the essence of any successful company, and we are really proud to have exceptional individuals on our team. In fact, we would like YOU to get to know them as well.
So here we go, introducing our team members to you and starting with the lead designer – Erikas.
I worked with various agencies, products for more than six years already. I’m most effective when designing handy user interfaces, attractive product landing pages and satisfying mobile apps. I have a strong knowledge in coding, that’s why developers find it easy to work with me.
I’ve been into computers since my early childhood. I clearly remember coming from school everyday and using Microsoft Paint to draw while my older brother wasn’t home yet. He was the one who introduced me to web design and development. I got my first income for making a website for a local lawyer when I was 14. Right from that moment I knew I was going to be a web designer.
The thing I love the most is making someone’s day better. I like making my clients happy, but what really drives me is making the users happy. It feels great to design user interfaces which are being used by hundreds of thousands of people around the world.
At some point of my career I realised that design isn’t about beauty at all. The real design is about solving problems and that is the key for me. That’s why I’m so passionate about user experience and user interface design.
I really like that Monetha is tackling a massive problem which hasn’t been successfully tackled before. It’s the lack of trust in classified ads marketplaces. That is the biggest motivation for me to be working hand in hand with a team of professionals trying to solve this problem. I’m really passionate about it.
I’ve been working with guys from Monetha before the ICO. We were based in a really small office-room in Vilnius’ centre. After the successful ICO, we moved to a bigger office few streets away and we had to move all the stuff to our new space. We didn’t hire any movers, so it looked funny as we did it ourselves – four guys bringing chairs, tables, computers etc. through the crowded Vilnius’ streets. I bet some people thought we are burglars or something 🤦♂️😂
