Interview with Monetha’s Customer Support Manager | Ruta
Tell us a bit more about your professional background? How did you get into communication and support field?
Since I was a kid, theatre was my passion.
I was always involved in theatre community;
You’d ask what theatre/acting has to do with communication?
Well, a lot, actually!
Because I was traveling around the world with theatre since I was a teenager, I learned a lot about different cultures and how people communicate in different countries. I was able to learn how to talk to people no matter where they’re from. Theatre opened up my mind and taught me essentials of communication and understanding others. After I graduated with BA Drama degree in UK I started working in a Customer field. Honestly, I feel super satisfied when I’m able to communicate with people, help them to solve problems and find the best way to achieve goals. Happy people – happy Ruta! 🙂
What do you love about your profession?
It’s true, though. I love talking to people, help them with their questions or just simply listen and discuss the ideas they’ve got!
Also, the challenges that I face, makes me learn something new every day.
And the influence I can do to people – from helping to answer questions to just simply making someone’s day at least a little better 🙂
What’s there not to love?
What is your philosophy behind the communication with community?
For me, every single person in our community counts: every opinion, idea, even criticism is very important to me. I think the attention, empathy and understanding is essential when it comes to communicating with community.
What brought you to Monetha? What do you like about the product?
I was very interested in Monetha since I first heard about it. As a buyer in online marketplaces, I’m very excited not only to start using the app, but also to be a part of improving the product as much as being able to communicate with users.
Any funny/interesting stories that you can share from your time in Monetha?
For me it’s very interesting and exciting that there are so many different people who are in the same place for the same reason and undoubtedly willing to help each other in every possible way. I’m so lucky to be a part of this amazing team!
