Interview with Monetha’s Office Manager | Aistė

Tell us a bit more about your professional background? How did you get into managing offices?

I studied English and Russian philology at Vilnius university. After four years of studying, I officially became a linguist and a translator, however, I decided not to take a path of a translator as a full-time job, I preferred being a freelancer. Despite the fact that my professional background had nothing to do with office management, one day I came across an offer to become an office manager at Kaunas State Musical Theatre. So, this was the beginning of my journey, which eventually brought me here.

What do you love about your profession?

I love helping people solve problems. This is what I liked back in a day when I worked at the theatre. And I am loving it here as well. It’s just nice when you come up with a solution and see that the person is grateful. Positive feedback always melts my heart.

What is your philosophy behind managing the office?

Make it feel like home. I wholeheartedly believe that an office manager is a person who is not only responsible for taking care of the problems that might occur, but also for making a workplace attractive and comfortable.

What brought you to Monetha? What do you like about the product?

I would hear people talk about it from time to time, also read some articles, watched Justas’ videos and decided to take a deeper look at what it actually was. Cryptocurrency has always been something that intrigued me, despite the fact that it’s a rather complex topic. I wanted to know more about the way it works and how beneficial it can be to a person who uses it to purchase or sell things. You learn it best when you work with it, so I thought I could give it a try. What do I like the most about the product? Guaranteed safety and trust for sure. These days there are a lot of scam pages that lure people into buying things which they will never get. Safe online commerce is the key.

Any funny/interesting stories that you can share from your time in Monetha?

It hasn’t been a long time since I started working here, so probably the only funny story for now is that I hit my head on a window as I tried to enter the terrace. A bit shameful but as far as I know, I am not the only one who had such a fantastic welcome. As an office manager who cares about her co-workers, I should probably place a sign or something. 🙂
